SECTION 34. The Flags of Garuda Are Fluttering
现在总结一下，我们这个喇荣佛教大学在21年期间，做了各种各样的大事。
Now let me sum up. In the last twenty-one years, our Larung Buddhist Institute has had a variety of significant events.
就像昨天我向你们汇报的那样，在公元1980 年，也就是藏历猴年猴月初十，我来到喇荣，最初建起了这所佛学院。
As I recently reported, on the tenth day of the monkey month of 1980, which is the monkey year in the Tibetan calendar, I arrived at Larung and founded the institute.
1985 年开始，为了复兴佛教、给众生带来无比的幸福快乐，利用了较长的时间，进行整顿佛教等一系列大事。
Starting from 1985, in order to revive Buddhism and bring unsurpassable happiness to sentient beings, we have spent a relatively long time in efforts to put things straight for a series of problems in Buddhism.
1987 年，也就是藏历第十七胜生周初的火兔年，我们师徒去了大圣文殊菩萨亲身安住的圣地五台山，发了殊胜菩提心。
In 1987, the fire-rabbit year, the beginning of the seventeenth cycle of the sixty-year cycle in the Tibetan calendar, we, guru and disciples, traveled to the sacred Mount Wutai where the noble bodhisattva Manjushri resides and generated the supreme bodhichitta.
为了将这个世界的众生接引到极乐世界，我们也是一直在努力。
We have been working very hard since then to guide sentient beings of this world to Dewachen.
后来，为了制伏那些危害佛教、损恼众生幸福的妖魔怨敌，我们师徒经历了百般艰辛。
In order to subjugate the demons and enemies who harm Buddhism and undermine sentient beings’ happiness, we have been toiling tirelessly.
历经磨难之后，大获全胜。
Finally, after all the hardship, we have gained complete victory.
如今克胜诸方的胜利标志——大鹏旗帜，在全球的每一个角落已经飘扬、正在飘扬着。
The symbol of victory of conquering in all directions — the flags of Garuda — have been erected in every corner of the world and are fluttering right now.
